Straight AN12 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter nipple slices into the hose liner as the socket draws up, giving the mechanical grip that heavy, large-bore assemblies need once they are full of fluid and moving with the engine. AN12 is a bulk-flow size, generally seen on dry sump scavenge and pressure lines, large oil coolers, fuel pump suction feeds and coolant or radiator plumbing where restriction has to stay low. Choose the straight body where the port and hose already line up, so the assembly stays short. Large sizes need firm clamping on the cutter body during assembly and a generous amount of lubricant.
