A 45-degree AN6 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter nipple carves into the hose liner as the socket is drawn up, holding the hose mechanically. The 45-degree body is the middle ground of hose routing: it turns the hose away from the port far enough to clear a rocker cover, chassis rail or bracket, but keeps the bend gentle so flow stays smooth and the assembly stays compact. At AN6 that typically means fuel feed and return lines, oil pressure take-offs and small breathers on tightly packaged engine bays. Work out your routing before cutting hose, as the fixed angle sets where the hose can run.
