A 120-degree AN16 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter design bites into the hose liner as the socket draws up, giving the mechanical hold a heavy AN16 assembly demands. At this size the hose effectively cannot be bent past a right angle by hand within any useful distance, so a 120-degree body is the practical way to route a line back past its own port. Applications include dry sump tank and scavenge plumbing, coolant transfer and fuel cell suction. Assembly requires proper clamping and plenty of lubricant, and the angle must be clocked correctly before the hose is finally drawn into the socket.
