A 45-degree AN10 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter nipple bites into the hose liner as the socket draws up, giving the mechanical grip that large-bore lines demand. AN10 hose has a big bend radius and does not like being forced, so a 45-degree end is often the right answer where a straight fitting would kink the hose but a 90 would overshoot the direction you need. Typical duties include oil cooler and remote filter feeds, transmission and diff cooler runs, big fuel feeds and sump scavenge lines. Set the angle of the fitting relative to the hose route before you commit to the cut.
