Straight push-on hose end in AN12 (-12), pushing straight onto socketless hose and gripping the barb without a clamp or crimped socket. AN12 is large-bore territory: oil cooler circuits, dry-sump scavenge, coolant and radiator plumbing, fuel cell venting and big breather runs on serious race engines. Use the straight body wherever the hose can run in line with the port, since it adds the least length and the fewest turns to the circuit. Support long AN12 runs with P-clips, as the weight of assembled hose will work a loose line over time. Ordinary rubber hose will not grip the barb correctly, so use hose specified for push-on ends.
