This is the long-body version of the AN6 45° PTFE hose end. The extended body pushes the hose attachment point further away from the mating fitting, which buys clearance where a standard-length end would leave the hose fouling a cam cover, chassis rail, bracket or heat shield. That extra reach also gives room to get a spanner onto the socket nut in cramped locations. Assembly is the same as the standard end — the olive is pushed onto the PTFE liner and compressed by the socket nut, with no braid allowed under the olive. Worth choosing where a straight or short 45° simply cannot be routed cleanly.
