A 90° hose end in AN4, built for PTFE-lined stainless braided hose. AN4 is the size used for brake and clutch lines, gauge and sender feeds, turbo oil returns on small circuits and vacuum reference runs, and the 90° body lets the hose exit hard against a bulkhead or caliper without the tight bend that would kink or stress the liner. PTFE-specific hose ends use an olive or ferrule that grips the liner itself rather than a barb pushed into rubber, which is why they must be matched to PTFE hose and never fitted to rubber-lined braided hose. Assembly is a cut-square, flare-the-braid, seat-the-ferrule sequence; lubricate the insert before it goes in and stop tightening once the body pulls up snug rather than crushing the liner.
