A one-piece cutter-style hose end in AN16 with a 120-degree bend. Socket and nipple come as one assembly, so building a hose means cutting the braid square, seating it fully onto the nipple and tightening the socket to swage the joint. The 120-degree angle is particularly valuable at AN16, because hose this large is stiff with a big minimum bend radius, and asking it to double back on itself will kink and restrict it. Taking the turn at the fitting keeps the hose in its comfort zone. AN16 is used for coolant, breather and vent plumbing, dry sump reservoir lines and large transfers. A square cut is essential.
