A straight AN8 to M12 x 1.5 adapter. M12 x 1.5 is one of the most frequently encountered metric ports in the workshop, showing up on fuel rails, transmission and oil cooler lines, filter housings and a wide spread of Japanese and European engine fittings, so this is a natural first choice when converting a metric-plumbed car over to AN8 hose. The AN8 flare side seals dry on its 37-degree cone and needs no sealant. The M12 x 1.5 side is a parallel metric thread, so sealing happens at the seat or port face rather than on the threads – do not wrap it with PTFE tape. Confirm the pitch on your port before ordering, since M12 x 1.25 exists and is not interchangeable with M12 x 1.5.
