This 45-degree adapter mates an AN4 male flare to a 1/8 inch NPT male thread. AN4 is the workhorse size for turbo oil feeds, small returns and instrument lines, and the 45-degree body is often the neatest solution when a straight fitting would aim the hose into an obstruction but a full 90-degree elbow would over-rotate it. Getting that angle right matters, because a hose that leaves its fitting in the wrong direction ends up either kinked or under constant stress. Remember the 1/8 inch NPT end is the narrower of the two, so size the application accordingly. Seal the tapered thread with sealant and keep the AN flare seat dry.
