A 150-degree AN16 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter design bites into the hose liner as the socket draws up, giving the mechanical hold required at the largest common hose size. AN16 hose is very stiff and heavy, and there is no realistic way to turn it back on itself in the space available around a tank boss, sump rail or radiator port, so an end that does 150 degrees internally solves a problem nothing else will. Used on dry sump tank and scavenge plumbing, coolant transfer and fuel cell suction. Assembly needs firm clamping, generous lubricant and a pressure test afterwards.
