A 180-degree AN8 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. Tightening the socket drives the internal cutter into the liner for a positive mechanical grip. The U-turn body reverses the hose completely at the fitting, which is exactly what a stiff AN8 line cannot do on its own without a long, ungainly loop. It is commonly used at tank and fuel cell ports, carburettor and rail feeds, and cooler take-offs that face away from the intended route. Confirm the fitting’s clocking and check that the returning hose clears the port and any nearby bodywork before you commit to the assembly.
