Straight AN16 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter design drives a nipple into the hose liner as the socket is tightened, which is important at this size because a large-bore hose full of oil or coolant carries real weight and load. AN16 is reserved for the highest-flow jobs on a build: dry sump tank and scavenge plumbing, radiator and coolant transfer lines, large crankcase breathers and fuel cell suction. Straight bodies suit ports that already point where the hose is heading. Assembly at AN16 takes effort, so support the fitting properly, lubricate well, and pressure-test before running the system.
