A 90° AN8 hose end for PTFE-lined braided hose. AN8 steps the flow up from AN6 and is the usual pick for the main feed on a high-output fuel system, for oil cooler and remote filter lines, and for turbo oil drains where gravity return needs a generous bore. The 90° body keeps the hose tight to the engine or chassis instead of looping outward, which is often the difference between a tidy install and one that fouls the bonnet. Match it to PTFE-lined hose only; the ferrule grips the liner and will not seal correctly on rubber-lined braided hose. When assembling, cut the hose square, flare the braid so it beds evenly under the ferrule, and stop tightening once the body seats — over-tightening at this size still distorts the liner and restricts flow.
