An adapter terminating 1/2 tube into an AN8 female 37° flare, the size-matched combination for AN8 plumbing since 1/2″ tube corresponds to the AN8 nominal size. It suits mid-size fuel feed, oil cooler and return runs where a long straight section is best done in rigid line and the flexible hose reserved for the ends and anywhere movement occurs. Flare the tube to 37° with the correct tool — a 45° flare from a general workshop kit will not match the AN cone. Also allow for the fact that hard line needs proper clipping along its length to prevent fatigue from vibration.
