A 45° PTFE hose end in AN10, sized for larger fuel feed and return lines, oil cooler plumbing and gearbox cooler runs. Large PTFE hose has a firm minimum bend radius, so a 45° is frequently the more practical option than a 90° — it lets the line leave a component at an angle while still sweeping gently rather than being forced into a tight turn. The seal is made by an olive compressed onto the PTFE liner by the socket nut. Lubricate the nipple and threads lightly on assembly, push the fitting in with a twisting action, and check that no braid sits under the olive.
