A 180-degree AN10 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. The cutter carves into the hose liner as the socket draws up, locking a large-bore hose mechanically. Reversing an AN10 line in free air needs a great deal of space because of the hose’s bend radius, so a U-turn end is the compact way to bring a run straight back past its own port. Typical applications are oil cooler and remote filter lines, transmission coolers, large fuel feeds and sump scavenge plumbing. Allow room for the returning leg alongside the fitting, and get the clocking right before the hose is finally drawn into the socket.
