A 180-degree AN12 cutter style hose end for rubber-lined braided hose. As the socket is tightened, the internal cutter slices into the liner and grips the hose mechanically, which is essential on a heavy line that is full of fluid and moving with the engine. At AN12 a free loop to reverse direction would swallow a large amount of space, so doing the whole 180 inside the fitting keeps the installation tight and the hose unstressed. Suits dry sump tank and scavenge plumbing, big oil coolers, fuel pump suction and coolant runs. Clamp the cutter body firmly, lubricate generously and check clearance for the return leg.
