A one-piece cutter-style hose end in AN8 with a 90-degree bend. Because the socket and nipple are a single assembly, hose building is quick: cut the braid square, seat it fully on the nipple and tighten the socket to swage the joint. The 90-degree elbow lets the hose turn immediately at the port instead of arcing out into the engine bay, which keeps runs short and stops the hose kinking as it leaves a pump, filter or regulator. AN8 is the higher-flow size, used for main fuel feed on boosted engines, oil cooler lines, turbo drains and surge tank plumbing.
