The AN8 version of the 120-degree PTFE hose end handles main fuel supply, oil cooler feeds and remote filter plumbing where the line has to reverse direction close to the fitting. Larger hose is stiffer and far less tolerant of tight bends, so putting the angle in the fitting rather than the hose protects the liner and preserves flow. Assembly is the standard PTFE method with an olive compressed onto the liner by the nipple. Plan the clocking carefully, because on a fixed-angle end the orientation is decided when you make the hose up. Allow spanner room around the bend before finalising the routing.
